Windows System Requirements

This article reviews the system requirement to run on your Windows computer. System requirements for Mac can be found here. 

Windows 7/8/8.1/10:

Any of these windows versions are natively supported and does not require any other updates

Windows XP:

Microsoft .NET Framework:

In order for TrackOFF to function with Windows XP, Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (or above) must be installed.

• System installation of Microsoft .NET will be checked during the installation of the TrackOFF application.
• If the TrackOFF application installer does not discover .NET framework, it will automatically install it.
• .NET can also be installed manually (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/search.aspx?q=.net%20framework)

Windows Service Pack 3:

In order for TrackOFF to function with Windows XP, Microsoft Service Pack 3 must be installed.

• Confirmation of installation of Microsoft Service Pack 3 can be found by performing the following steps:
• Right-clicking My Computer, then selecting Properties
• Under System, it will detail what Service Pack is currently installed

To update Service Pack:

• Navigate to “Control Panel”
• Click “Security Center”
• Under the “Automatic Updates” section ensure automatic updates are turned On
• On left hand side, click the “Check for the latest updates from Windows Update” button
• This will open an Internet Explorer window and show you how to update to the latest package
• Download and install updates, Note: You may be prompted to starter your computer. If prompted proceed with restarting your computer
• If there is a yellow shield in the system tray (bar at the bottom of the screen) is indicative of the updates currently being downloaded
• If you mouse-over the yellow shield, it will show you the percentage complete
• After it completes downloading, double click the shield, and follow prompts to install

Windows Vista:

Microsoft .NET Framework:

In order for TrackOFF to function with Windows Vista, Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (or above) must be installed.

• System installation of Microsoft .NET will be checked during the installation of the TrackOFF application.

Windows Service Pack 2:

In order for TrackOFF to function with Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows Service Pack 2 must be installed.

• Confirmation of installation of Microsoft Service Pack 2 can be found by performing the following steps:
• Right-click My Computer, then select Properties
• Under “Windows Edition”, it will detail what Service Pack is currently installed

To update Service Pack:

• Navigate to “Control Panel”
• Click “Security”
• Click “Windows Update”
• Click “Check for Updates” button
• Download and install the updates. Note: Proceed to restart your computer if prompted.
